T Stands for Tuesday

Not a lot going on here this week. Mostly just watching the birds and doing a bit of art and more crochet.
Pileated Woodpecker Female

Downy Woodpecker
Purple Finch
Male Downy
Hawk
Titmouse
RedHeaded Woodpecker
My Drink of the week is a new coffee my daughter-in-law gave me for Christmas. It's wonderful.
My Thought for the Day is also my only art piece for the past 2 weeks.
...and it's not finished yet :/
Have a great Tuesday!

  5. Great photos today! I love woodpeckers and although we hear them sometimes in the summer mostly, they are very tough to spot. Beautiful art and a perfect quote, too!

  8. Wow, Carol, I'm not sure I would know one bird from another, although Susi (and hubby) set a bird buffet up in her tree recently. Seems we get different birds than the ones found in Europe, though. I sure enjoyed the bird photos, but would never have known what they were without the aid of a bird book or the internet.

I really like your art, and loved the quote. Getting rid of negative thoughts is always high on my list, along with let's get rid of bullies.

Thanks for sharing your birds, your wonderful new art (I'm sure you'll share when it's finished, although it already looks great to me), and your new coffee with us for T this Tuesday. Although I prefer to grind my own with each pot I make, I applaud your daughter for getting organic coffee. Smart and wise choice.

  11. What beautiful birds. And you know all the names! I think I can only recognize a sea gull and a magpie and a pidgeon. I don't think I've ever seen a woodpecker (apart from the cartoon version). Very interesting.
The quote is so true. Lovely page.

    Have a good week,
    Lisca
