Hello there to all of my Tuesday FRIENDS!
It's time to share what's been going on around here the past week.
The birds are still hanging around but I'm not putting as much feed out since it's been so warm and they can forge for a bit .
I can go for two days without putting out seeds before the Blue-jays start complaining loudly.
I went to my daughters for the weekend. My eldest grandson turned 19 and we had a family party for him.
It was a great weekend and I loved being with my kids and all of my Grands!
Today started
29 Faces in February.
I'm trying to do this again as I really enjoy it and learned so much from it.
Here's Day 1
A quick pencil sketch as I had a full day ahead of me. I really want to have the time to paint some of them too.
So that's what's up with me :)
Today's Random Thoughts

So glad you were able to go to your daughter's last weekend and help with the celebration. You looked really happy, too, and not in pain. It's amazing how uplifting family outings can be.
ReplyDeleteGlad you are doing your faces again this year. It's always fun to see the various ones you create.
I love the cardinals. I can't help it. I have a thing for them, so I was simply mesmerized. I also liked the lovely thoughts for today, especially that last one. It was SO true.
Thanks for sharing your weekend and birds with us for T this week.
Wonderful art, and love the bird photos, you get such gorgeous birds over there! Glad you had a fun visit to your daughter's, and were able to be with the family. Happy T Day, stay well, hugs, Valerie

wonderful celebration with family! Love your face sketch Carol. I thought I would do it this year but then when I look at everything else I'm doing, I just can't commit. Love seeing your birds too. I just put one of those suet feeders at my neighbors (where we all can enjoy) but so far no birds:( Great thoughts of the day-and that last one has me inspired to create a similar journal page. Happy T day!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing that sweet celebration for your grandson. Great candles on his cake.
ReplyDeleteI never as kindly toward the jays as I do the other birds...ours is so pushy and greedy. I made the mistake of feeding the squirrels WHAT was I thinking LOL.
You have a fine array of visitors in your garden.
Looking forward to your faces challenge.
You are very talented Carol!
Happy T Day and Happy February
