I just love using Flea Market and yard sale finds in my garden. I bought the little metal stool for $4 at a flea market. The granite ware coffee pot was a birthday gift from my son and his family.
My red Holly Hocks are really beautiful this year.
I love blue flowers and the Bachelors Buttons are just starting to bloom... not many of them came up this year :) ?
The yellow Thick-seed is in full bloom now and really brightens up it's spot in the garden.
...and the moonflower (actually Datura) is still going strong. I love the smell of these jewels and they are so striking in the moonlight .

It looks like you have a lovely garden and the stool and coffee pot are a nice touch.
ReplyDeleteWow your hollyhocks is blooming already mine is still tiny I think because I just planted it last year. Great blooms here. Thanks for sharing!

The stool and coffee pot with the red begonia are perfect together! Some day I will try hollyhocks again. Sometimes the heat and humidity make them all mildewy here. No humidity this year, though.
ReplyDeleteLovely touches love the pot on the stool so cute.
ReplyDeleteI love using garage sale finds in my garden, too. Your red stool and coffee pot look great together.
ReplyDeleteHollyhocks...they take me back to my childhood in Kansas...
ReplyDeleteCOLOR DILEMMA
Yellow or red—which shall it be?
Red for you and yellow for me?
Perhaps you’d rather have yellow instead—
Which leaves me, of course, with handfuls of red!
Whichever hue you decide to choose,
I’ll take the other—no one will lose!

Cute stool :). The hollyhocks here in Israel are nearly gone already, they tend to bloom in late winter/early spring.

LOVE that red stool!
ReplyDeleteI think if we went flea marketing together we'd be fighting over the finds. :)
It and the pot make a lovely little vignette.
Love your hollyhocks!
Lovin' your hollyhocks! I plant them but they seem to act as annuals for me-enjoy:@)
