T Stands for Tuesday

Not a lot going on here this week. Mostly just watching the birds and doing a bit of art and more crochet.
Pileated Woodpecker Female

Downy Woodpecker
Purple Finch
Male Downy
RedHeaded Woodpecker
My Drink of the week is a new coffee my daughter-in-law gave me for Christmas. It's wonderful.
My Thought for the Day is also my only art piece for the past 2 weeks.
...and it's not finished yet :/
Have a great Tuesday!

  1. great positive quote. I like all those birds as i only ever see robins at my feeder

  2. These birds are Darling... and your artwork so beautiful!
    happy t-day to you!

  3. Love those bird photos, we don't have them here! Enjoy your coffee and painting. Happy T Day, hugs, Valerie

  4. such delightful photos of the birds carol! I haven't seen a pileated woodpecker in my yard since last Spring, though I do see the others. Really lovely art too. Enjoy your new coffee!

  5. Great photos today! I love woodpeckers and although we hear them sometimes in the summer mostly, they are very tough to spot. Beautiful art and a perfect quote, too!

  6. Nice variety of bird photos.
    LOVE the journal page.
    Happy T-day

  7. Lovely inspiring art and quote!
So many beautiful birdies and a hawk too ♥
Keep enjoying that yummy coffee dear Carol
    Happy T Day oxo

  8. Wow, Carol, I'm not sure I would know one bird from another, although Susi (and hubby) set a bird buffet up in her tree recently. Seems we get different birds than the ones found in Europe, though. I sure enjoyed the bird photos, but would never have known what they were without the aid of a bird book or the internet.

I really like your art, and loved the quote. Getting rid of negative thoughts is always high on my list, along with let's get rid of bullies.

Thanks for sharing your birds, your wonderful new art (I'm sure you'll share when it's finished, although it already looks great to me), and your new coffee with us for T this Tuesday. Although I prefer to grind my own with each pot I make, I applaud your daughter for getting organic coffee. Smart and wise choice.

  9. What a wonderful variety of birds to watch!!
Love the quote and your drawing is so peaceful and calm.
    Happy T-Day! :)

  10. Oh how I loved seeing those birds - thanks for the labels - I haven't seen any of these in England! A good idea to let go of negative things! Happy T day! Chrisx

  11. What beautiful birds. And you know all the names! I think I can only recognize a sea gull and a magpie and a pidgeon. I don't think I've ever seen a woodpecker (apart from the cartoon version). Very interesting.
The quote is so true. Lovely page.

    Have a good week,

  12. Lovely bird photos...and peaceful art that speaks wisdom! an 'uneventful' week is a good week in my book...less chaos and more time for art! happy T day!

  13. Thanks for the pictures of the birds. Delightful! :) Happy T, uh, Wednesday? ;)

  14. Nice shots of the Pileated and you have a Red Head. We haven't seen any this winter and last year we know we had two. A warm up is a comin'!

  15. Your birds are so lovely and your page is so beautiful and positive. The quote is so true!Happy belated T Day, dear!
