T Stands for Tuesday and Super Moon

Hello my Tuesday friends ♥
What a week it's been!  The election is over and the results have shocked a  lot of the world to it's very core. Only time will tell how things will really go. My heart aches for our country and the world right now.
On to brighter and more positive things.
The SUPER MOON this week has been beautiful. On Sunday my photos were only so so  and then last night I had such a headache that I didn't even try.
This morning at 4:45 am it was still shining brightly. So bright I could walk the dogs with out a flashlight. So after out tour of the yard and gardens... you know we have to check it all out...cause there are things that visit in the night and leave their scent on everything :)  I took the camera and tripod out to the deck and took so photos through woods.

After coming back in I realized I needed a drink photo still so back out I went with just the camera and the cup of coffee...
Should have taken the tripod back out with me. :(  or at least put a jacket back on so maybe the photo wouldn't be so shaky :)
Let's just say my brain isn't always awake at that time of the day even if the body is up and moving around. LOL!
We had a hard freeze this week so pretty much everything outside is done for the year.  I brought in the last few little roses that did't get killed this time around.
I love looking at them setting in my kitchen window in the little antique bottle.
So now I really must get dressed and take Mini out for our morning walk. She's been bugging me for over a half and hour now. As soon as the sky starts turning pink she is ready to go... I'm not often ready at that point :)

  1. The election results shocked the world, I can't believe that so many people can be so stupid. Your moon pictures are great, we couldn't see it at all as we had a sky completely covered with clouds. Have a good week, look after yourself, hugs, Valerie

    1. Kindred spirit here on our mourning over this election result. :( It's been a hard week with folks saying we should just get over it, so I wanted to reach out with a sympathetic hand. We did have a clear sky to see the full moon, so that was a bright spot for us. {hugs}

  2. I don't have a tripod, so my photos of the moon last night were not as good as yours. But I still really like what you got and what I got, too, even though they are still on my camera.

I really like the random thoughts, and I also like the coffee mug on the deck with the moon in the background. I was shaking while taking photos last night, too. BTW, our first freeze is supposed to be this Friday, but we've had frost twice.

Thanks for sharing these wonderful photos with us for T this Tuesday.

  3. First the election, then Leonard Cohen/Leon Russell/Gwen Ifill... This year is not being kind to us :(

We went out for the super moon, too, but your pictures are better than ours. I enjoy noticing the sky and the changes through the months.

Your roses are beautiful! Happy T Tuesday :)

  4. The moon really was gorgeous wasn't it! I didn't bother digging out the tripod or even taking photos. I just have it in my memory banks. :)

  6. Well i'm on the opposite end of the spectrum with the election results... i do believe it is time to get busy and make this work as we have always done in this nation in the past.... Its something i admire about us... I've never seen us behave so badly after an election...The nation was so torn that half of us were going to be unhappy no matter what happened... but we can't let that divide us we have to ... must come together

You got some great shots of the moon Carol... I set my alarm the last two mornings to get out there and didn't make it either morning so kudos to you my dear!! :) Happy happy Tday! Hugs! deb

  9. Thanks for sharing those fab moon pics Carol! It's been cloudy and showering off and on so I had no view of that beautiful moon...great save on getting the mug shot for T day:)
I cannot believe that my summer potted flowers and baskets are still looking so good despite a few frosts. We have had many days warm up quite nicely though and that keeps me happy.

  11. You have captured the moon beautifully, there is so much detail in your photos! It was so funny, we were sitting snuggled up on the sofa and I mentioned your moon photos to my hubby and all of a sudden we are outside setting up the tripod and taking photos of the moon :-). Thanks for the inspiration, the sky is clear tonight and my hubby got some nice shots. Wishing you happiness this T Day! J :-)

  12. Your moon photos look awesome, there was alot in the news here for us to see it, but the clouds and weather had other ideas and the night sky has been totally black.

  15. Fantastic pictures of the moon! Mine came out looking like a giant white blob, apparently propping myself up against a pine tree wasn't a good substitute for a tripod. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

  16. Such beautiful moon shots! Unlike you Sunday was the only evening I got lucky with a few iPhone shots of the full moon. But, isn't it always fascinating? I totally can understand why wolves howl at the moon - well, not really, but you get my point, right?
