T Stands for Tuesday & Art Journal Journey

Hello Tuesday Friends!
Well winter is here again and the snow is blowing. I don't think we'll have any accumulation but I've been wrong before.
The birds are feeding like crazy again and I finally have a photo of one of the little Carolina Wrens. They are so skittish it's hard to get one. I think he had his eye on the Cardinal and did't notice me sneak up to the window this time. :)
Before I forget again this week , here is my drink of the day.
Another giant cup of coffee :)
It was a very busy week and weekend here. The youngest son finally closed on his new house and started moving in.
I've been helping him with unpacking boxes and putting things away and sealing the grout on bathroom and kitchen floors.
He's still staying nights at our house as his new bed won't be delivered until Saturday morning.
So I'm behind in the 29 Faces again. :(
But I'm not too worried about it.
Here's one of the catch up faces I did today.
I'm also sharing this with.....
Art Journal Journey

There are some great folks over there that I'm sure you'll love :)
So this is about all of the words my worn out brain cant put together this week...I just didn't want to skip T Day again.
So skip on over and check out the other folks there :) T stands for Tuesday

  1. Smiling and pondering about the turtle :-)
How exciting for your son and what a great mom you are to help out in so many ways.
As you can guess I can really relate to your blue creation.
It's very expressive and super Carol.
Exciting to snap a photo of those sweet wrens and handsome Mr Cardinal.
Enjoy your BIG cuppa and take care of yourself.
    Happy T Day oxo

  2. What a great way to start your T post, Carol. You KNOW how much I love cardinals.

Love that big mug with your initial on it. It's always fun to see it come to visit on T Day.

Your face is beautiful. Is this from your blue period? Bad pun, I'm sure.

Loved the random turtle thought. Also loved that you are helping your son move to his new home. I bet you are quite pleased, too.

Thanks for sharing your art, your coffee, and your week with us for T this almost Tuesday.

  5. Your birds are so lovely - what a nice photo did you take?! Your wonderful blue girl looks fantastic and it makes me really happy that you linked her to Art Journal Journey even though you are so busy at the moment! Good luck for the new home of your son... always so much work with a new home.. we live nearly 5 years here and still much to renovate. No end in sight! But it is o.k. for me. I wish you a happy T-Day and have fun with your faces Carol!
I would think a turtle without her shell is naked AND homeless! lol.

Longing for spring as well... but it still is February and I think we ( at least here) have to deal with some more weeks of coldness ...we will see...

  7. Great that you could photograph the birds! Excuse my ignorance but which one os the wren? The little one I assume. Then what is the pink bird called? In any case, they are beautiful.
As is your blue girl. That depicted me last week when I had a touch of the winter blues.
Sorry to hear you are having more snow. Here the weather has been exceptionally mild and sunny. Normally we get a bit of snow too. We are known to be the coldest place in Andalucia (in winter). Our nearest city Granada is a ski resort, but there is very little snow. I think they 'make' snow with a machine for the skiers.
Lovely mug with your initial on it. Coffee tastes so much better from a nicer mug, lol.
    Happy T-day

  8. Carol your blue girl is so marvelous!! So nice you can be there to help your son out-and how exciting for him to have his first home. You are right about the difficulty of capturing those wrens. I'm still trying. Thanks for the turtle smile and a happy T day!
