T Stands for Tuesday

Hello again from
"Winter Wonderland"!!!

In a normal winter snowfall here we get 5 to 6 inches. This year has not been normal!!!
This storm brought us 15 inches of the white stuff and it's not melting very fast at all.
Hopefully tomorrow's warm up will melt at least some of it off because we are supposed to get
hit again this coming weekend. :(
Dad is home from the hospital again and doing better than he has been for months.
I was supposed to go back up this week and stay so my sister could go home... but mother nature put a stop to that.

Dad has wanted a dog for a long time but knew they couldn't take care of one . Since someone is always there now my sister got him an eight year old friend and he is so happy. I think the dog is too. Even Mom who was dead set against a dog has been won over :)
Not much else going on here. Just a bit of snow shoveling everyday. A very small bit!
Today's Random Thoughts

See you all next week .... Hopefully!

  1. oh my SO much snow!!! We have had record rain most of this year - even lately but I am so thankful that so far it has been rain , although we're hearing about our first snow this weekend:( Glad your dad is doing much better and how wonderful he could have a dog to love and love back like he has been wanting. That really makes my heart smile. Hope you are doing well. Happy T day!

  3. You were hit HARD. I didn't even see it on the news you got that much snow. Usually I know where the snow, ice, or bad weather is.That is amazing and incredible. It would be days like that I'd be glad I owned cats that stay inside and "go" in a sandbox.

It's wonderful that your dad is feeling better and doing better, too. That is fabulous news. Sorry the weather put a stop to your staying with him this week.

I LOVED the coffee cup on your outdoor table. That was a very, very clever shot. Thanks for sharing your snow photos, the update on your dad, and your coffee on the snow covered table with us for T this Tuesday.

I laughed and laughed at the DNA test. SO true!

  4. That looks a serious snow fall in the photos you shared. Your coffee would cool down quite quickly I think if you left it there for longer than taking the shot.
Its good that your dad is back home again and the little dog will be such good company.
    Happy T day wishes.

  14. Great mix of photos. I hope your Dad is okay. It's never easy to see one's parents in ailing health. I also liked your inspirational quotes, and I'm not the kind of person who is big on those, but yours touched me.
