T Stands for Tuesday

Hello again !
It's been super busy around here and will only be getting busier very soon.
So I'm sure it will be hit and miss with my postings all summer.
The yard and gardens have taken off  big time and I'm still playing catch up with  the work that I didn't get done last fall.
Here are a few of this years flowers so far...

This last shot is the wooded area that we started clearing out the invasive oriental honeysuckle last year. We burned off the leaves and dead brush so hopefully we will have less bugs and fewer honeysuckles.
On the baby front they will probably arrive this week. It's a full month early and they are still small. She is getting shots to stop labor but the doctor says it will be this week.
This is last Friday's ultra sound photos.

So all gardening may come to a halt for a while :)
Today's random thoughts....

Hopefully I'll be able to get around and visit more people this week, time management is an issue with me these days.

  1. OOOOooo Carol!! Aren't those 3D ultra sounds amazing?? Our little sweety pie is due in about a month and a half...Can hardly wait. Oh i'm forever behind on the yard myself . We just do what we can.. With all the deer we don't garden much.. I don't have the time or patience to fight them so i just enjoy them instead. Sitting here about midnight and just heard a LOUD coyote really close.. then i can hear some of his compadres off in the distance. :) I heard a whipporwill earlier.. Hubs is in bed snoring.. oh what he misses.. lol Happy happy T day! Hugs! deb

  2. I've never seen ultrasounds that incredible before. Looks like Deb knew they were 3-D, which of course, I did NOT. They are going to be beautiful babies.

I worked all day and until the sun set tonight in my garden and only got it half finished. Time was, I could have done the work in half a day. Now it's two days. Sad, but true. Your flowers look beautiful and your hyacinths are fabulous. Mine were killed by three hard freezes, as were lots of tulips, too. You have a fabulous area to keep up, and I don't envy you. It's beautiful in your garden.

Thanks for sharing your garden and coffee with us for T this Tuesday, dear Carol.

  10. Wow, those ultrasound images almost knocked me off my chair, Carol. You all must be on pins and needles. The garden is looking lovely but that is second fiddle to the main event.

    Best of luck!

    Happy T-day! Hugs, Eileen

  11. The ultrasound of the twins is amazing! Aren't they clever what they can do with technology nowadays. Not long now and you will meet the twins in person. Are they living near you?
Whatever happened to the guest who fell ill (from New Mexico)?
Your garden is looking very fine indeed. i know you have a large garden looking at your header photo. You have your work cut out!
    Happy T-Day,
    Lisca

  13. Congrats on the new babies! So exciting!

I love your garden edge, those flowers, and your garden ornaments. Nicely designed :) I love the scent of the wild honeysuckle, but you are right to try to root it out. It's so invasive!
