T Stands for Tuesday

Hello my Tuesday Friends!
Sorry I skipped out again last week. Was feeling a bit blue and just wasn't up to posting.
You may remember "Lady Liberty" the senior dog that showed up on here on the  4th of July. She has been slowly going down hill the last month and on Monday we had to take her in and have her put down. It was hard but she was in pain and could no longer stand or walk.
She was a good dog and I am grateful we were able to make her last months better for her.
I'm still busy trying to get all of the crocheted and knitted gifts done for the Holidays. The end is in sight now so I'm feeling less pressure. :)
I even took the time to play with some paint over the weekend. I've been seeing a lot of post on Facebook about fluid acrylic paint pouring and it  looks intriguing so I thought I would give it a shot. It's fun...very messy but I like the out come.

I see some interesting backgrounds in the future :) Once I finish all 0f  the fiber projects that is.
My drink of the day is coffee and more coffee :)

  1. My keyboard is having a PMS hissy fit today, and refuses to work much of the time. I would LOVE to leave you a personal message like you are used to from me, but it took nearly 30 minutes to write my last "real" message. Fortunately, my mouse still works well, so I can copy and paste this generic message to you. So, I will just wish all my U. S. friends a very happy Thanksgiving and EVERYONE a very happy T Tuesday.

  9. I am sorry to hear of Lady Liberty's passing, but she was so blessed to have you care for her. Your painting is beautiful, I am happy to see you are still being creative in the midst of your grieving. I spent yesterday morning fussing with outdoor decor instead of working, but it felt good to do something creative instead of drudgery for awhile. Always a pleasure to visit you, Carol. :-)

  13. Sorry to hear about Lady Liberty. As you said, at least you were able to make her last months better. We have many many strays in our area. Some of them are so pathetic, you want to take them all home. Of course that's not possible. We've taken in five. It's hard losing them.

I'm glad you took an art break, Carol. Those are very interesting backgrounds indeed!

    Happy T-day! Hugs, Eileen
