T Stands for Tuesday

Once again I am sliding in at the last moment to get this posted.  It seems no matter how hard I try Mondays run away from me at warp speed most weeks.
My phrase  for the year is
"Be More" .
Yesterday was one of those days that grabbed a hold of that phrase and ran with it from the moment I woke up until I finely collapsed at midnight. That is the body did but the brain kept going until about 3am :(
Even though I didn't get some of the things on my daily to do list done ...I did get so much more than I thought possible done so it was a good day.
Before I forget here is the required drink of the day... coffee of course and two of the birthday cards I painted yesterday.
Over the weekend I spent a lot of time on the internet and TV watching the progress of the marches across the nation and other parts of the world. I was impressed with the numbers and the fact that for the most part they were peaceful and well organized.
On Sunday I did a page in one of my journals that was kind of sparked by those events but more just by the whole election and who our president is .
Since taking this photo I have added many more descriptive words... not positive.
Then I felt  like I needed a more positive page so I did this
Rainbow Warrior Dream Catcher page...
...which then inspired one of the birthday cards from yesterday.
I also started drawing out my garden plan for this spring... :)
Those seeds are calling my name this week ♥
I finished up a new crochet project too and will be shipping it off today..
It's a vest and I certainly hope they like it as much as I do.

  8. Well, you got your post in before I did, so.... ;)

"Our bodies, our business, our rights." Yes! Who thought back in the 70s we'd still be fighting for our rights now :)

    Happy T Tuesday

  9. This was a very uplifting post, Carol. I know I'm late, but I was out most of the day. You had me fooled. I didn't think that was Trump initially.

What are you putting in your straw bales? I see tomatoes on the other page, but I was just wondering. I'm trying to build up my lasagna garden, but it's very slow going. I would love to get some straw, but it's too expensive here. Last time I looked, they were $15.00 per bale from a local farmer.

I love your cards. I'm sure they will make two people very happy. That dream catcher is awesome.

Thanks for sharing your coffee, art, and random thoughts with us for T this Tuesday. I agree with Divers and Sundry, but I don't go back quite THAT far.

  10. I loved all your art, but I must say, I don't think I could even do a page with our new president on it. Kudos to you for being brave enough to do that-and adding all those bad words. My page would be full of those bad words. Glad you made it to T,late or early...hugs-Erika

I agree, the marches were beautiful, strong and well organized and peaceful, so impressive.

Oh it can be so hard being awake after we want to be asleep.
