Another busy week has flown by... stopping in to visit my friends at
and
I probably don't have to tell you most of my time is still being spent outside but I am doing more art again too :)
I finished the Work-in-Progress that I shared last week and I'm extremely happy with it!
So I'm sharing this with the folks at AJJ and in particular
For you folks at T for Tuesday here is the
photo with my drink of the day. Still drinking the lemon flavored herb drinks....
A Few garden photos to share....
Still working to restore the shade garden even though it's not as shady as it was since the big tree died .
Herbs are drying every where in the house.
Even the closet gets drafted this time of year :)
It's also Fungi Season in the woods ....
...and the vineing plants are going totally bonkers....
So I'll stop overloading you with the garden and give you the...
Thought's of the Day....
Prayers to the Officers and families that have been devastated by acts of intolerable violence here on our own soil. Those who protect us should NEVER HAVE TO FEAR US.
STOP IT NOW!

What an uplifting post. My herbs are not as prolific as yours, but they are drying in brown paper bags. Your gardens look amazing, and I'm in awe of the space you have.
ReplyDeleteYour journal page is wonderful and a genuinely gorgeous AJJ entry, too. Your herb drink looks so cool and refreshing sitting on top of one of those hay bales.
So glad you joined us for the birthday celebration at T Stands For Tuesday this week. Thanks for the wonderful photos and thoughtful quotes. I especially agree with your last sentiment.
Such a pretty journal page Carol. I can see how very busy you are especially this time of year but oh to reap the rewards of preserving the herbs and such! Wonderful thoughts of the day and i stnd with you on your last sentence. Happy T day!
ReplyDeleteThat naughty horn worm looks so nice on your journal page but they sure can do damage especially in numbers.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous bee balm...I can almost smell it.
A very fine array of shrooms too.
I have a couple of mullein growing in our garden too...they are handsome plants.
Each day the news seems to be so senseless and tragic.
Why can't we all get along!
Thank you for the uplifting quotes Carol
Happy T Day oxo
I always love seeing how your garden is growing. Wow- lots of mushrooms for so early in the summer. But I will admit I noticed 2 in my yard today. usually they don't show until late August and September. And your garden page came out wonderful. I love the texture you seemed to create with the background. Happy T Day!
ReplyDeleteLove your beautiful journal page, and thanks for joining us at AJJ, nice to see you there again. Your garden is wonderful, but is a lot of work, and I don't know how you manage to get so much done. Your herb harvest is fantastic. Love the fungi, they're growing here already, too, although we don't usually see them so early in the year. Happy T Day, hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteCan you please mail me your snail mail addy, so I can send you my ATC? Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeletei admire all the work you do in your garden... it Looks overwhelming. i suppose mushrooms should be out here already, too, as so far it was a very wet summer.
ReplyDeletehappy t-day to you!
Your journal page is wonderful. Thank you for sharing the photos from your garden. As I have followed you weekly I know what it looked like at the beginning of the season. So prolific now!
ReplyDeleteYou will enjoy the herbs when they are dry, even tho it is a bit of a bother to have them drying everywhere.
The mushrooms are out in force already! Wow! We don't get any until October.
Happy T-Day,
Lisca
I love your fantastic journal page. it is another inspirational page for my theme choice, I so pleased you liked it.
ReplyDeleteThe photos of your garden are lovely and so many flourishing plants and vegetables , you're weather must be a great help in their growth.
I loved your post ending and your last quote.
Happy Tuesday.
Yvonne
We "had" a shade garden in our dry creek bed but we have a tree that died in early spring so we will be transitioning to more sun loving plants. And the tree will have to come down! We have lots of mushrooms all over too! Like the horned worm painting but wish they would leave your tomatoes alone... :) Good Morning!
ReplyDeleteI don't have hardly any shade, and I love seeing your hydrangea :) Such a variety of fungi! Their shapes and colors are interesting, I think. Happy T Tuesday
ReplyDeleteI love your garden, it is filled with such great plants and produce. There is nothing better than the taste of your own veggies which you have loved and nurtured, you sure are a great gardener! I bet your house smells wonderful with all those drying herbs around, mmm! Your random thoughts are so true, thanks for sharing! Wishing you a Happy T Day!J :-)
ReplyDeleteYou know I don't get over to your blog like you comment on mine! Love, love, love your garden and the drink of the day your lemon herb mix! Keep feeding the hornworms to that lizard! It will keep you both happy! xo
