It's Tuesday and time for tea ...naaa that would have to be coffee for me :) Not that I don't like tea I just like coffee so much better and even more so since my box of Marley Coffee arrived :)
I want it every day but I also want it to last for a long time so I'm trying to ration it. We'll see how that works out :)
Spring is definitely in the air here! The daffodils are really waking up.
This is just the first wave of them :)
Haven't done any work outside since I was here last. It's been too wet and cool. Today was beautiful and warm but the ground is still squishy wet out there.
So I've been starting seeds indoors and planning out what I want to do out there this year.
My helper has been very sick this week with the super flue that is going around and even ended up in the ER. I think they wanted to keep him but he wouldn't stay. So if you've got an extra prayer or positive thought could ya send it his way. He's a great kid and I'm really worried about him.
So I've been keeping myself busy with my art... working on some blanks note cards and in my journals.
Only 3 of the cards are finished... the rest just have backgrounds done on a Gelli Plate.
So that's what's going on in this neighborhood.
Today's Random Thoughts
♥
You must save some of that Marley Coffee in case I drop by (joke). Ever since you shared it last week, I read up on it and the foundation that supports it.
ReplyDeleteWOW, those dafs are amazing. I have two, but they didn't bloom this year. They are on the south side of the garage in soil that is so hard, I've never been able to dig it up to transplant them. Yours, on the other hand, are gorgeous.
So, so sorry to hear about your young helper. He must have a super bug. It's a bit late in the year for flu, but I guess, since it's been such a mild winter, we haven't had the usual outbreaks we normally get. I hope he is well soon.
I love the second saying. I agree that you can't put on airs or try to be someone you are not, because the world sees through phonies.
Thanks for sharing your garden, your random thoughts, AND your Marley coffee with us for T this soon to beTuesday.
Your coffee sounds good, and the daffodils are so cheerful looking...just love them.

That is a very fine wagon wheel you have too.
Very nice card selection you have there. Some of the monoprinted backgrounds are so cool it's hard to cover them sometimes I find.
Hope your helper is feeling much much better very soon.
Take care and Happy T Day oxo

I'm not good at rationing the good stuff. Hope your help is on the mend real soon. We had over a month of sickness working its way through our house. It was awful!!!! There were 2 urgent care visits and a regular dr visit during that time. BAH!
