"T" Stand for Tuesday :)

Getting an early start on my "T" post here.
I have to go into work at 4pm and when I get home around 8:30 ish I just may not have any energy left....it's an extremely low energy day here. The constant cold and wet we've had this week has finally caught up me:(
I did manage to get out and do a short walk about in the gardens today.
The blackberries are loaded this year.
This is their 3rd year since planting and will be the first big harvest! Can't wait :)
The storms have knocked a lot of the flowers down this week...so I have to get them propped back up. :(
The shade garden is blooming :)

Wild Yams going nuts :)
...and lots things about to burst into bloom...
 Butterfly Weed...
 ...Echinacea...
... Bee Balm ready to pop with the day lilies going strong in front of it.
Much later... it's now late evening and I'm still trying to get this post done :( So much for starting early .
Hopefully the internet service will stay up long enough to get finished.
I guess I'm not the only one affected by the weather :)
It is supposed to start warming up tomorrow so maybe we'll both be working better.
We have a pair of Lizards living in the veggie garden. They are usually moving so fast You just get a flash of them running off. With the older weather this week they were moving slower and I got several photos of them. Here's my favorite :)
Today's random thought...

  1. I had to laugh at your random thought. It is surprisingly true.

I STILL can't believe how early your day lilies bloom. Mine don't get here till mid to late summer. Right now, it's too cool and wet for most any and everything to grow properly.

It's the third year for my blackberries, too, and I am excited because they have gotten some flowers on the vines already. I cut them back this spring, but thought I was too late and they wouldn't bloom. Glad yours are doing so well.

Hope you feel better soon, and thanks for sharing your various lovely beds with us for T this week.

  3. Your garden certainly is a happy place so full of beauty and promise!
We have been having July temps here in northern Virginia...I missed the lovely cooler May days. Looks like the Lavender will bloom early this year.
Take care and hope you get some rest in this busy season.
Happy T Day and Happy June

  4. Your garden is fantastic! I don't think I've ever seen a lizard here. We so have some salamanders in wet areas but thankfully I'm in a drier area. Little critters scare me...they move so dang quick. I jump and squeal like a girl!!
    Happy T day!

  5. I do so enjoy your garden :) It's so much larger than mine, and I like seeing how you arrange things. My daylilies (I have 3 with blooms this year) are blooming now, too, and they are such cheerful flowers. I like your bank of bright yellow :) My bee balm is always getting ready to bloom. It's interesting to see that here on my Memphis patio we seem to be at about the same garden stage as you.

Thank you for sharing these photos. Happy T Tuesday!

  7. So much lovely blooming and greenery Carol! We are now getting lots of needed rain and cooler temps and I am dying to take a few pics of my neighbor's gorgeous Oriental poppies which are just beginning to bloom. We now have two baby hummingbirds visiting our feeder and I love watching. Interesting looking lizards-I'd be intrigued by them too:) Happy T day!

  10. This time next week you might be showing off all the blooms! We have been having a lot of rain so things are growing fast here. That's a cute pair of lizards! Hope you get your strength back! Happy T Day.

  11. Wow! So much growing there already. That looks like it must be some variety of skink in the garden. They can move so fast. Cute little guys. Happy T-Day! :)
