We have been so lucky this winter that it was easy to forget it's really winter out there. I mean yesterday I was outside without a jacket and today everything is cover in snow and it's soooooo....cold!!!!!!
I spent most of my day watching all of the birds battling for a spot at the feeders.
They look so cute all puffed up to stay warm.
It was definitely a high traffic day out there. With big birds and little birds and all the sizes in between.
Tomorrow I'm off too and I'm hoping to get more done around here than I did today. everyone needs a lazy day once in a while :0)

ReplyDeleteCarol you are so right, we are spoiled. I could barely take the thought of going outside yesterday! You are getting some up close right in your face pretty bird shots. Mr and Mrs Red Bird there is a great shot of their beautiful birdie faces. That crest! We been having lots of traffic too and had a lone Blackbird yesterday! Enjoy your weekend Carol, it's going to warm up!

ReplyDeleteYes, isn't it something how fast the weather can change? Same thing here in Wisconsin. Your birds are really glad for the feeders now judging by the way it looks. Love all your photos of them, every time I try to take a picture of cardinals they are terrified. I think I need to rethink my approach? I'll just let them eat and I'll enjoy your pictures instead!
