We have a ton of Cardinals in our woods but I really don't have too many decent pictures of them. So I've decided to try and fix that.
The first picture was taken in the morning and it's pretty clear. Even if Mr. Cardinal wouldn't come out from behind the feeder.
The second one is in the afternoon and he is more visible but then so is the fog between the panes of class on the patio doors. So I guess the trick of getting good pictures this year will be to be up in the morning and camera ready.

Beautiful Rubies Carol. You have them coming to the feeders now so that means pictures! Carol they love those hanging tray feeders where they can park their feathery ruby bottoms!
ReplyDeleteI used to live in the Northeast, but now I live in the Southwest, where there are no cardinals. Your photos have given my heart a boost. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteHESTER’S LETTER
Hester’s letter, scarlet “A,”
Gave the gossips much to say,
But their rudeness she forbore,
For she knew she was no whore.
