I've been trying to get this little guys photo all spring and he's just a too quick most days.
Yesterday he was feeling lazy I guess or just enjoying a small rest.
The Ruby Echinacea has opened up and is just as beautiful as I had hoped it would be :)
I'll have to see if I can find another one this year...can't remember where I bought it :(

ReplyDeletegorgeous birdie. lovely collection for Ruby Tuesday
ReplyDeleteHi Carol,
ReplyDeleteThe pictures of your little friend are stunning! What a gorgeous ruby color. My Echinaceas are just starting to open and your purple one is beautiful.
The bird and the Ruby Echinacea go nicely together!
ReplyDeleteYou are lucky to catch that little fellow and he matches the flowere beautifully.
ReplyDeleteThat little birdie almost looks like one that makes a nest in my fern every year (and I end up killing the fern because I don't water it enough thinking I'll drown the baby birdies!). Your coneflower is beautiful!! It's one of my favorite flowers in my garden. Yours is a beautiful color!
ReplyDeleteThe purple housefinch is so pretty. When the flower dies and turns brown, collect the seed from the coneflower and scatter it around.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful raspberry colors in the birdie and the blossom!
ReplyDeleteBoth beautiful reds:@)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous captures!
ReplyDeletePlease take a peek at my ruby tuesday when you have a time.
Great birdie pics! I have a hard time getting them too. Love the coneflower color! I planted several different colors last year and can't wait to see what comes up. Jean
ReplyDeleteI have been trying to photograph some birds at my house, too, but it IS hard to do, isn't it? You got some great shots. And I love the vibrant color of your coneflowers.
ReplyDeleteCool captured. Lucky shots!
