It's "FLAG DAY" !
Every year we say we are putting up a flag pole and never do.... so I picked up several of these little flags to place around the garden when I want to put out a flag. Actually I'll probably still use them even when we do put up the "BIG" flag pole....someday :)
I'm proud to be an American and proud to fly the flag of my country any day!

Last year I planted some "Ruby" echinacea and they are just now getting ready to bloom for the first time...getting anxious :)

My rose tree has been absolutely fabulous this year!  I really need to mulch this area of the flower garden so it will look better ...but decided to post the picture anyhow :) Every garden has a rough patch...Right?
It's still cool here and raining of and on. So things are really perking up after the heatwave we had.
I'd love to be out there doing more while it is cool.... but my fibromalgia has flared up and is telling me to slow down and stop doing so much.  So for once I am going to listen before I get too down to do anything.

  3. I love the color peeking through on your Ruby coneflower; it will definitely be even more beautiful when all are blooming. Hollyhock plant is also showing its colors well. Lovely area that you've made with the rose tree surrounded by such delightful plants.
