Sunday Brunch

Sundays are our day.
The one day a week we have with just the two of us at home.
We either get up early and go to the Flea Market or we sleep in and have a late Sunday brunch.

Todays brunch was herbal omelette's with herbs, onions, cherry tomatoes and peppers from the garden and fresh eggs from a friends farm.

I meant to make toast ...but forgot...oh well, it was still good.

I used Boxwood Basil this time.
And it just wouldn't be an omelet without "REAL" butter.

The Garden is cooking in this heat and doesn't look pretty at all.
Trying to get some fall crops in but it's sooooooo dang hot it makes it difficult.
Hopefully everything will survive.

It's even too hot to take the motorcycle out for a ride.
The poor thing has only been ridden 2 or 3 times this year.

  2. It looks very tasty, a real calorie bomb, especially the butter.

  4. This is my first visit to your blog. Sunday brunch looks yummy. I love omelets. Neat table too. Sweet post about your mother in law. I understand totally what you mean about them not liking you to begin with. I had a wonderful mother in law before she passed too and she shore didn't like me when I first hooked up with her son. Anyway hope she is feeling well. It is heartbreaking to watch them lose themselves in forgotten memories.
