While shopping for seeds this spring I ran across a package of cotton seeds. I just couldn't resist buying and planting a few. How fun to watch the plant develop and see what the cotton looks like when it's ready to harvest. The blooms are pretty and last a day. Later I'll post a pic of the cotton ball.
