Macro Flowers Saturday Passion Flower

Passion Flower

Usually these vines are covering everything and I'm yanking and pulling to keep them under control. This year I was beginning to wonder if I had actually done them in and they weren't coming back. Finally they appeared and have behaved themselves and given me the beautiful flowers that inspired their planting to begin with.
Love them but oh so invasive!

  1. And I can't get the dang thing to grow! Isn't funny how in different parts of the country it is invasive and then there's our garden where it doesn't have a fighting chance! Just a beautiful photo, Carol!

  2. Wow! If those flowers invade our garden I will be thankful! But then maybe not? Does it like dogs? I mean, is it safe with dogs around? But maybe it will not be safe from my dogs? ;-)

  3. You are throwing out good money, you should send them to us. Just a very small pot with one flower is very expensive by us.
They are very beautiful flowers and your photo is excellent.

  8. Gorgeous. I've never seen them before. Hubby wouldn't like my planting them if they are invasive, but I might plant one anyway. ;)
