The Winter of the Eagles

As spring arrives with a damp chill and the threat of snow I set and stare out the window and reflect on the parting winter. It's had it's challenges but there has also been an abundance of joy and exciting new experiences. For me the opportunities of photographing Eagles was the hi-light of my winter. The first experience involved an hours drive in the blustering snow to Clarksville, MO. It was worth the trip.

  1. Hiya Carol,

Didn't he pose nicely for you to give you some beautiful portraits.

Living in the UK, I never see Eagles. We have some Hawks and Kites, Red Kites are my favourite. They give an aerial display that is like a ballet. Perigrene Falscons is about as wild as it gets, and I don't see those to often.
