Winter walks

All winter I've been telling myself to get out and enjoy the snow and take some pics. So on Friday I decided I had better get out if I wanted those snow and ice pictures from the creek before the predicted rain showed up and washed it all away. The walk was pleasant and the creek was beautiful and I got an unexpected suprise.... a visit from a bald Eagle who are not really known to hang around here at all. It was a Great walk!

  1. Wow! That eagle would surprise me too! Carol, I shared your beautiful photos of the moon with my daughter who is 12 and wants to work for NASA when she grows up. I'm trying to encourage this, because it's motivating her to do better in math and science. She was disappointed when she tried to take pictures of the full moon last night with my camera, but they paled in comparison to yours. Would it be okay if I copied your photos and emailed them to her, so she can use them as wallpaper and facebook avatars, etc.?

  3. Thank you Carol! I'm just hoping she continues to be interested in the moon and stars. It's a great and lofty goal to work for NASA someday.

  4. Carol, I'd love it if you shared any vegan recipes you have! If it's okay with you, I will try them and post them on my blog. (I made it a rule to myself to actually taste everything I post on there.) I'm at DebraKeirceArt@yahoo.com if you want to email any to me. Oh, and feel free to delete this comment from your blog here, since it doesn't relate to the eagles or anything...
