T Stands for Tuesday

Hello Tuesday Friends!
Feeling low on energy today so this will be a short one.
I drove to my parents for the weekend. Wanted to spend Father's Day with my dad and check on him since he's been in the hospital again.
My daughter drove up to so it was a nice visit.

Bob didn't go as his kids were taking him out for the day on Sunday.
I swear the weeds grew 6 inches while I was gone!
Here are a few shots of the veggie garden ..

Now the tomatoes in these two photos were planted the same day and were the same size. I'm thinking that the second bail must need a boost of fertilizer or something.
This bale was planted the same day too but they are a different type of tomato and you can see but there are tomatoes on all of the plants.
And here is my class of herbal tea resting in the shade of the tomatoes while I pull a few more weeds. :)
Here I guess I dropped a squash seed and it's growing at the bottom of the bale in the walking space. :)
I started a new painting...lets see how long this one takes :)
Today's Random Thought
Now hurry on over to the other party folks who I'm sure are more awake and entertaining that I this week :)

  1. this is a rough gardening year for sure-which I kinda predicted especially knowing my yellowstone trip would put me behind-my tomato plants are looking better I fertilized them all this morning-next week looks like a cool one-can't wait
    Happy T Day

  2. Wonderful photo of the you and your family Carol. Everyone looks so happy. :) The problem with weeds is they never really go away, do they? Whatever you do to control them never seems to work. At least in my gardens. :) Happy T day. Hugs-Erika

  3. nice pics of you and family Carol. Love the dripping colors on your art piece and look forward to seeing it evolve. Your garden is thriving that's for sure-despite the weeds! Great random thought tho sadly true. Happy T day!

  4. Glad you enjoyed your visitors, lovely photos. I have learned to embrace my weeds on my balcony, saves work! Your new art piece looks fab. Look after yourself, Happy T Day, hugs, Valerie

  5. So glad you had a good time with your father. I loved the photos of the three generations. Your mother looks happy and I know your father was happy, too.

I can't believe the difference in the the two sets of tomato plants. Sort of reminds me of the difference in my two pine trees I bought at the same time.

I am loving your latest art piece. It is very colorful and reminds me of dripping crayons.

Thanks for sharing your random thought, your Father's Day photos, your veggie garden (which puts mine to shame, I might add), your dripping art, and your herbal tea with us for T this Tuesday.

  6. Lovely family photos, its good to spend time with those we love.
What a difference in your plants, but they do look healthy and are flourishing.
Great start to your new art project, it looks fantastic to me with all those bright colours.
    Happy T day
    Yvonne xx

  7. I am happy you got to visit with your parents and spend Dad time on Father's Day. You all look great... nice pictures! We are getting a couple of teeny tomatoes every day or so. Lots of green beans! Going to be fun to watch your art evolve! Aren't the skeeters eating you alive. We can't go outside without being devoured by the little monsters!

  8. Lovely photos of you and your family, everyone looks so happy 😀. Your veggie beds are doing well and seem to have grown as much as the weeds ... lol! Herbal tea sounds perfect and I'm loving the art you started. Wishing you a Happy T Day! J 😊

  9. Sounds like a nice Father's Day for both your Dad and your hubby. Nice pictures. Boy you're going to have a ton of tomatoes to can, Carol! It's fun watching everything grow - except the weeds that is ;-)

    Happy T-Day! Hugs, Eileen

  10. Just a quick flyby visit this week i'm afraid Carol.. Life is sooo busy... Loved seeing your photos though and your garden looks fab!! Happy happy T day! Hugs! deb

  11. I'm always amazed at how well plants do planted in bales. I don't have the space, or I would definitely have to see if I could make tomatoes do as well as you can :) I'm wishing your rogue squash plant well ;)

    Happy T Tuesday!

  12. Love the family are blessed to be able to visit your dad on Father's Day! your tomatoes look fabulous! gardening in bales seems to really work well...great start to your painting too...Happy T day!

  13. These are lovely photos of your family. Ohhh your garden is amazing and you are is off to a great start but I like it just as it is.

  14. Glad you got to enjoy Father's day with your Dad and I'm sure you and your daughter had a good chat on the journey too! Your garden is looking so good - I am always surprised how tall weeds grow while we are away from our caravan! Love the start of your canvas! Belated Happy T Day! Chrisx

  15. How wonderful you got to visit your dad on Father's Day. And thank you for sharing the potos. It's great to see the three generations. You have a lovely daughter. And you don't look so bad yourself! (Oops I forgot you are in USA. In British English uses a lot of understatements. So translated this means: You're looking great gal!)
Sorry I'm late commenting at the T-party.
A belated happy T-Day and have a good week,

  16. So nice that you got to visit your dad and more on Father's day. Your hay bale garden is looking good. Wishing you a lovely Sunday.

  17. Wonderful photos of your dad and family on Father's Day. Everyone looks so happy! Your hay bale garden is really doing well, I should try this too. I have two tomatoes given to me, sitting forlornly in their pots, poor things. The weeds; do they ever come to an end? :-)
