T Stands for Tuesday

Hello again my Tuesday Friends!
Sorry I missed last week ! I'm having major issues with my computer and may have to break down and get a new one. Hubby worked on this one for hours but is not sure how long it will last. It's old but I DO NOT want to deal with learning Windows 10 but just may have too 😢
Winter has decided to make a big statement this week. Yesterday we were supposed to get light snow with only a slight accumulation on grassy areas. Well this is what we got!

It was a very heavy wet snow and is already melting and should be gone in a day or two. I hope. I'm really ready for sunny warm days with flowers!  Did you notice all of the snow on Mini's front legs? Her fur is long there and the snow just built up on it. Took forever to get all of it off when we came in. 😢
So I spent the day inside crocheting while Dear Hubby worked on my computer again.
This is what I'm working on . I won a great pattern book a couple of months ago and have just starting working on one of the patterns. It's has a Celtic look to it and it is new stitches that are bit intricate and new to me. Luckily she provides links for YouTube videos so you can get the visual aids to figure it out. I think I'm going to love it when it's finished. I'm using a hand dyed wool yarn that is so soft and the colors are so earthy!!!
Here's the pattern book I won and it is GREAT!

I have more little "mini green houses" planted and will do more of them today :)
I've been saving the flavored water bottles that Hubby drinks all of the time and will be doing a bunch of smaller individual ones. I haven't tried using them yet but I've read in the "Winter Sowing" group that they work great so we'll see 😄
I can barely wait until it is actually time to plant everything in the gardens .

I did get one of the flower beds cleaned up before the snow came back.
The one directly in front of the house is about 3 quarters of the way done.
The daffodils and tulips are already starting to poke their leaves up out of the ground.
Soon! It will be here soon !
Here's my coffee and breakfast for today. Trying to get some energy built up to start on the purging again. Having that flu really knocked my energy levels off completely. And when I do get some it drains quickly still. Maybe I'm just getting old.
Today's Random Thoughts

And for extra fun here's a painting I bought a long time ago when the Hubby started complaining about my art and craft supplies taking over his half of the Hobby Room.
He didn't appreciate the humor as much as me :)
Now it's time to link to
Link should go live shortly after 4 pm.

  1. Love that clutterholic pic, that seems to be an attribute of many of us. Lovely snow pics, Mini needs wellies! Sorry about the computer, but don't worry about Windows 10, it's not hard to get used to. Stay well and look after yourself, happy T Day, hugs, Valerie

  2. I know what you mean about snow. We're getting more now than all winter. We had a big storm last Thursday and another bigger on coming Tuesday. Like you, I really want it to be planting season. Loving your shaal too-it is beautiful. Hope you are all better and back up on your feet. happy T day-Hugs-Erika

  3. So many of us are just itching to get out into the dirt! It's coming, slowly but surely. Hang in there. Being out in the sunshine will renew your energy!

  4. I'm in awe of your snow. We've seen none this winter. I am also in awe of the cardinals you get there, because they are really scarce here in Wichita. All I can say is it is cold.

I have wanted to try those mini green houses, but I don't drink milk, so I never seem to get any large jugs like that. I hope yours work. I know you had good luck last year.

If you don't want to learn Windows, get someone to build your next computer to run Linux as your operating system. No windows ever and less chance of getting hacked. You have no idea how happy I am with my new computer. If only I had a better internet provider!

Your new crocheted piece is beautiful. It looks so soft, too.

Had to laugh at the clutterholic. I was cleaning in my basement studio and realized I must do some real work there before I can craft again.

Your breakfast looks yummy. I have tried to like Activia, but it doesn't seem to like me. Thanks for sharing your garden clean-up, your snow shots with Mini and more, your crochet, and your coffee and breakfast with us for T this Tuesday. I really liked the not normal random thought, too!

  5. I missed you posting! I clicked and made the pictures BIGGER! Yes, I see the snow on Mini's front legs and the beautiful cardinals in the tree! Your truck looks cold! It truly is a winter wonderland there! Lovely color on your crochet piece. Spring will be there before you know it! Haha... love Word Porn Random Thought and relate to the Lourie quote. Hope your computer decides to behave. I have gotten used to 10 but not all the crazy updates. I use Chrome for a browser and I try to ignore the rest of the mess. Enjoy your Tuesday, Carol!

  6. Cardinals in snow make for such a pretty scene, don't they! Links to video tutorials would make a book a complete learning experience. Nice idea :) I always put off replacing computers until I _have_ to, but I lost some photos the last time that happened :( Mini-greenhouses would help my seeds and seedlings survive the digging of squirrels and chipmunks. I lost most of my zinnias that way last year :( I look forward to more garden photos as spring reaches you. Happy T Tuesday!
