T Stands for Tuesday

Just a quick note to let you know why I haven't been around.
Dad has been in the hospital and it has been touch and go for awhile now.
His lungs are filling with fluid and they can't figure out why.
If they can't get a handle on it in the next couple of days they are sending him home to have his last Christmas at home with the family.
Someone stays with him 24/7 so we are all taking turns. Someone also stays with Mom.
So we have been busy.

  4. Dear Carol, this is very sad and disheartening news. You would think in this day and age, the doctors could figure out what is filling his lungs.

It sounds like you have been busy with both your father and mother. It's not a good time of year for this to happen. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Please take care of YOU, too. After all, if you get sick, that won't help anyone. I know it sounds hollow right now, but Merry Christmas, dear friend.

  11. So sorry to hear about your dad. Doctors don't know everything, that's for sure. We wish they did, but quite often they don't. I'm glad everyone is around, though.

I hope you aren't feeling poorly, yourself. I know stress causes my fibro to flare up like crazy. love and hugs!! :)
